I am still waiting to plant mine, last year I had in a couple of weeks earlier. April was wonderful, May has been nothing but 50's and rain. Ugh! Glad to hear you got yours in.

Good for you!! I planted mine about 10 days ago, and the all the seedlings popped up last night!!! Squash, cukes, even my watermelon!!! My town is know for their watermelon, so there is no reason I shouldn't be able to grow it too! I also have toms and peppers for salsa, can't wait!!

DH had our yard tilled up, new dirt hauled in, and planted new grass. So I have a yard of straw with grass seedlings popping up...but no garden. I guess I need to put some tomato plants in containers cause it doesn't look like he's gonna mess up his new grass lol.

I'm so envious!!! I've had pneumonia for the month and haven't had the energy to get mine done. I do have lettuce and spinach in a box that is shooting up nicely, but nothing int he ground just yet.

Got mine in last week. Peppers, Toms, onions, lettuce, beans, beets, carrots, radish, and cucumbers - now all I need is the Salad Dressing!

The weather has been horrible here. I'm hoping we can get ours finished this week. We already have potatoes, onions, radishes and peas coming in nicely.
I hope your garden does well for you.

Yay! We just now planted ours as well! We have to wait due to our weather! We are zone 5, but it has been known to freeze hard at the end of May. I feel like we're a bit risky to have planted so soon! Our potatoes, peas and spinach are growing, and I have been hardening off the tomatoes and peppers. But we finally got the rest of the seeds in the ground! I love it! I couldn't imagine a summer without a garden!
Happy gardening!

I have a fishing boat in my yard & I planted flowers in it today. I'm doing something new for me..container gardening. I planted 1 yellow tomato, 1 roma tomato, 1 yellow pepper & 1 cayenne pepper. I planted 4 zucchini seeds in my flowers and 1 came up. Years ago when I was a young mother, I would plant a huge garden every year and would can 100's of quarts of food. Now there's just 2 of us...But do miss the fresh gr beans, peas, etc...yum!
