Goat kidded out this morning...meet Gretel
We thought there would be twins so we picked out Hansel and Gretel, but just Gretel came. She was born this morning at 3:30 a.m. Oh my gosh she is so cute! I woke Emily, so she could see her. Mom & baby are doing great. Just wanted to share some pictures.
While I'm sharing pictures, the broody hen hatched out her chicks. Six in all.

That's terrific!!! Newborns are one of the things I like best about my daughter's mini farm...her goat gave birth Christmas Eve to triplets & my daughter had to help Tipper in order for her to survive...she was itty bitty at birth, but she is catching up just fine.
