Is your garden a treasure?
I just love my garden, and every time I go out and look at it, it's like a treasure chest. All the colors of the plants and fruits are like rubies, and emerlds to me. Some of the treasure is right in front of my very eyes, and others I have to dig for. I can show off my jewels to anyone. Some will tour it, some will get to taste and smell it, and others will get to feel the joy of working in the garden.
Amazing!
Am I crazy or does anyone else feel this way?

I know how you feel. Sometimes I think I'm the happiest when I'm in my flowers. I have a beautiful fresh bouquet of daisies & peonies on my kitchen table. I have 2 garden ladies that are treasures. One is done in an old fashion pink dotted swiss long dress (Miss Uptown) and the other is Ms Country Bumpkin. She has a hoe in her hand, ready to garden. I have a bike, painted all orange with a basket of flowers @ one corner of my house. I have kitchen plates I use as fence on the other end. My daylilies are getting ready to bloom. Gayfeather, Russian Sage & my peonies are blooming in the back. I can walk out and get fresh rhubarb for supper. I love my home....oh I've rambled on.....

I feel exactly like this with my tomato plants. Dh has started to say that I love them more than I love my cats. He's wrong its just we're in full swing tomato growing season right now and... well... I just love 'em.

You're not crazy..my wife thinks I am though. I'll be out there hoeing, water fertilizing etc in 90 degree heat and I'm happy as a clam. LOL To me, it just soothes my mind when it's just me and my garden. It's not work.

Yes. I tend to want to take pictures of my garden and show them to people who do not care.
They'll care when they start getting free veggies!

Yes, my gardens are a treasure. I spend most of my free time in the gardens, and enjoy every minute of it, often putting in an 8 hour day of "work" in them. When I'm not weeding, deadheading, or tending to some other necessity, I'm sitting back enjoying the wildlife, especially the hummingbirds. It's my relaxation and exercise program all rolled into one!

I agree gardening is very relaxing.
I know what you mean about no one wants to help, but everyone wants to enjoy the harvest, although I love to share. It just makes you feel good.
