I need a home made remedy for black spot

Two of y roses in the back perrenial garden have been over taken by black spot. I have viciously cut them back, but am looking for a safe home made remedy to keep it at bay, any suggestions? Thanks.

I don't grow roses but my neighbor used baking soda and water in a spray bottle.

Did you remove the branches you trimmed and pull back the mulch or replace it?

Black spot is a fungus that likes a specific ph... so, mix fat free milk and water (50-50 solution) and spray that on the plant. It doesn't remove the black spots but it does keep the fungus from spreading.
