    Gripey started them in the flats eons ago (3rd week of Feb. approx) but didn't transplant them till about April 25th & May 10th. He uses a cage and then a big trash bag and makes mini greenhouses like that and they love em.... . We'll just see if we have ripe ones before mid July....(never do...but who knows?).

    I picked my first red one yesterday. We have gotten 4 cucumbers and 5 yellow squash, and will have a couple of zucchini soon.

    We have some wee ones here too. We are getting yellow squash and onions now and peppers are starting to look good too. By golly gee whiz I sure do love summer gardens.
