found the source
well I thought the source of my weed tomatoes was the new dirt but then my stawberry bed sptoughted more than 200 tomato plants... so it is not the dirt....
Then I remembered I spread my worm castings in the flower bed and the strawberry bed.. seems I must have fed those worms tomatos.... we eats tons of them in the summer and I had not cleaned it out for awhile.... so tomatos in my strawberries.Meg
