Soooooo excited!

Dh is really embracing my "frugal/hippy-tree hugging ways" these days. In fact, there is a section in our yard that is a pain in the butt to mow and he suggested ADDING more raised beds! It's a slope and he wants to add 4 columns with three raised beds in each column (only way I could think to explain). So I will have 12 new raised beds about 8" long and 2-3" wide. His only condition is that there is some type of flower bed or hedge in the front b/c he doesn't want fencing to be the first thing people see when they pull into the driveway. Woo-hoo! I will never have to buy vegetables again! He wants to get them in this Fall so they'll be ready in the Spring! I am so excited!! Can you tell? I'll be worse than the kids "Honey, come in for dinner, it's dark outside!" *dh dragging me kicking and screaming into the house* Thanks for letting me share, I was ready to BURST!

That's awesome!!! Lots of fun and lots of work... but the result, lots of veggies and flowers, will be so worth it!
