    I wish I lived where I could have a couple of chickens. I might could if I could invest in a fence. Those babies are so sweet!!!!!!

    I think they are adorable. My family thinks I am crazy because I want to get chickens. I would love silkies. I am trying to convince my dh that a couple of chickens would be a great addition. I am hoping to build a coop this winter and get 2 or 3 in the spring. I have been reading up on them but I am nervous as I have never had chickens or known anyone with them. I think I will be doing it alone which makes me a bit nervous too. I want them for pets and a few eggs they will provide. I would love to see more pics as they mature.

    Gee thanks Missy! I guess I'd better find out how to build some kind of cat proof chick house first!

    Oh, I can just see it now.. The cats would just love playing with those little guys!

    They are really just adorable.. but afraid with all my cats, it's really impossible. Please keep posting their pictures as they grow, just love seeing them!

    They are soooo cute, I remember when my DD and her class had to raise baby chicks, they had such a great time!
