Pictures of your garden
I would like to see how others garden. I use raised beds myself. Mostly to help keep some critters out of them and also for my back.

I found some really big window boxes and planted my green beans in them. LOL It worked great! I also used very large containers for the carrots and they came out really nice too. I think you can grow almost anything in a container if it's big enough! LOL

Yours looks lovely, mine is in the gallery under my name. Neat how you had beans growing for you in containers. This is the first year we had major problems with garden pests, namely a woodchuck & deer. Before the next season starts we need to figure out how to deer proof our already nicely fenced in area.

Darlene, are you rural? The reason I ask is because the absolutely best way I know to keep the deer away, is to have hubby "mark" his territory so to speak (urinate out side near the garden). We have no problems with them coming into the area of the yard where the garden is. They stay in our woods and in the meadow.

Lol, yes we do live where Dh could "mark his territory" so to speak without Neighbors freaking out. Deer/Dear might laugh though. We've been here over 15 years and only used to see the deer in winter, now they are coming around more often.
Come spring I'll load up hubby with some beer/water and have him have at it, using careful aim not to hit the garden itself.
Oh wanted to add that we used to have a dog and he sometimes peed on our Yews and the deer ate the yews anyway. Maybe they dislike the urine of a guy who knows how to use a gun more.
