    Go You! :clapgirl: Love working in the garden around tomato plants, the smell the plants give off when you touch them is oh so good & the flavor of home grown tomatoes, wow.

    I have about 0.4 of an acre and three fairly large beds, for a total of about 1600 square feet. About 6 square feet for each supported plant or a total of about 180 square feet for the tomatoes.

    I'm growing Sungold cherry tomatoes, Roma, Parks Whopper Improved and Olska (sp) heirloom paste tomato. I want lots for canning.

    That's a lot of tomatoes. I grew 8 varieties last year, but this year will only be 2. I wanted to narrow it down to a slicer and a canner. So in the garden will be 20 Amish Paste and 4 Delicious. I'm hoping to have lots of tomatoes in the pantry for next winter.
