Have you started planting yet?
And if so, what do you have in the ground? What else are you planting?
Dh has had a sore back for the last couple of days, and since he works 10 hours a day, I haven't bugged him about tilling up my garden. I was hoping he would do it today, but no such luck. This weekend is the new plan. I offered to do it, but he is a man, and wants to run the big tiller himself, lol. So, I am hoping to start planting next week!DJ

So far, for a little garden, I have planted tomatoes, sweet peas, a blackberry bush, sage, thyme and basil.
I have also had to replace some of my landscape plants in my front flower bed. The freeze we had took out about 1/2 of my plants.Hello from Sunny Central Florida

Haven't planted anything yet, looks like now I will have to wait awhile.
Were going to plant last weekend and decided to put in a couple more inches of compost. It's all ready to go, but now I have a foot of snow on top of it, so guess i'll wait again...Pine trees, with their needles pointing up to heaven, represent everlasting light and life.

I have seedlings in pots in the basement. Tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers... Won't be planting time for about 3 more weeks. They are predicting snow tonight or tomorrow. I hope it doesn't kill the early blooming trees.

I have seed trays going right now. A few hundred plants possibly when they all sprout and are ready to be planted.

Swiss chard, leaf lettuce blend, spring onions are in the window boxes. I have mini pots of zucchini and yellow squash in my portable green house and I'm hoping its not too early for them to be there.

I tilled the garden early. After that, we have had a lot of rain. I haven't gotten anything in the ground. I am not complaining since we are coming off a horrible drought. I still have time and have yet to panic. Things always have a way of working themselves out.

I wish! We got slammed with almost a foot of snow on Sunday and there's a ton in the backyard. I don't forsee anything coming in until at least the end of April or beginning of May.
