If you are planting peas in Canada, I'd better get busy planting them here!

I was thinking the same thing redmaples. Probably going to this weekend. We haven't tilled yet, but I'm planting peas along the perimeter so they grow up the fence.

We planted sugar snap peas all along our chain link fence. We have already had to protect them from major frost twice....

Great idea to plant peas along a fence, we could do this in the preschool's back yard!!
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

True. My trellis is not a fence. It is 4 by 8 concrete reinforcing wire, painted and placed in the garden to use as a support.

My garden is still a mud pit!

That and the dogs are digging in it. I need to start tethering them. And hope for no more snow so the garden can dry up and be treated to composts and other goodies.
