Harvested 2 large bags of weeds yesterday.

And after our 1 inch of rain the crab grass pulled much easier. More digging to do in that area though as the root system can go on forever!

Wow...It is snowing here today (Alberta, Canada)...ugh..I hate it
Anyhow, I do container gardening mostly because it seems easier than planting...I have lettuce, tomatoes, squash, eggplant, onion, and lots of herbs all sitting in pots in my kitchen waiting for the sun to come out....lol

My very first ripe Heirloom tomato of the season. Actually, I pulled it off yesterday as we were expecting heavy rains. We left it on the counter overnight to ripen just a bit further and this morning it was the first thing we went to. I sliced it from the bottom. First slice looked good. Second slice looked good. Smelled it. Smelled delicious then I took a closer look. I was puzzled at what I saw. Lots of "greenish" guts that had pulled away from the flesh. It was almost like a pepper inside if you can imagine the seed ball in a green/red pepper. I sliced further only to notice the closer I got to the stem it was black/diseased (possible pest infested but it looks more diseased) inside. DH spent a few hours on the web today trying to identify the problem. Came up with nothing. We were so bummed. Still have more tomatoes coming but now we're worried.

OH NO! Ihave no clue about what the problem could be with your tomatoes, but that is just crummy... Hopefully it is just that tomato, or at the most just that plant, and you still get fruit full tomatoes!
We planted our garden on Sunday, I still have to plant the cucumbers, zucinni, green beans, peppers, corn and tomatoes... here is what I have planted
Potatoes, Beets, carrots, okra, cabbage, Jalepanos, Harbaneros, Leaf lettuce, pumpkins.
My strawberries came back again this year, and they are spreading. Two years ago I planted 8 plants and this year OMG! I have so many. Yesterday I harvested 5 strawberries and boy were they good.
Hopefully the rain holds off today and I can finish up my garden. I am running out of room though, so I might plant my peppers in buckets along the house!Married to my highschool sweetheart, DD 6 DS 9 months
