    Default My Garden Plans:

    http://www.frugalvillage.com/forums/blogs/ceashels/

I posted the picture in my blog (Thanks Durgan for the inspiration.) The 2 pics that did not upload were of the green house and the raised garden bed in the back yard. I'll try to do those later.

That was my first blog entry. I wonder why my second entry doesn't show up?

Great pics!! What are the water bottle for? (Missy is wondering if this idea might help my garden too!!) I especially like the corner planting area, that is super cool.

I have 3 pin hole punctures in the bottom of each water bottle. So I can fill them and put the cap on and the water will slowly drain into the soil three inches deeper than the surface soil. I have found that with getting so much sun the window boxes dry out very quickly. I use 2 liter bottles in the deeper beds and just plant my seedlings about 8 inches away. This way the roots get to train down to the water level.

Great plan. I am working on a watering project too, if it works I'll share it at FV. I love the water bottle idea. i did something similar, but the kids kept taking the water bottles. I have some window boxes, come to think of it that dry out wicked fast. I can use this for those definitely!!!!
