my garden today

Here it is, after a week of rain. Still no plantings in. The little herb garden in the middle has bounced back (except the lavender, which died over the winter) and you can just see the garlic in a row on the right.
The clump of strawberries in the front was blooming the day I tilled, but with all the rain I don't know if the blossoms survived long enough to get pollinated.Use it up, Wear it out,

Enough is enough
I can sympathize with you. We have had a lot of rain this April. Fortunately, I have good surface drainage, but enough rain is enough, and we are almost there.
It is bright and sunny today, and about 20C, and there was a wind after the rain yesterday so much has dried out.Durgan

I'm with you, mine is so wet DH took the big tiller through it to see if we could dry & fluff it up,, well it didn't work. Now I just have a big mess.
I was hoping to plant this weekend, but its raining again. News says we have a couple days of it again and I hate to say it but its headed straight for you! Sorry!
Your garlic and herbs look good! Hang on its got to stop sometime..Pine trees, with their needles pointing up to heaven, represent everlasting light and life.

I hear your "pain" it has rained for days and it is suppose to rain for the next ten days. I just went out and looked just now and we have had a hard hard rain for the last two days and it has washed my green beans seed to the surface they have sprouted but are nearly on the top of the ground. It is much to wet to do anything about it now though.
