No more frost is expected, so all the tomato plants (30) were placed in the garden. Two types of support were used overhead and cages.

Very nice garden! How do you keep up with the harvest of so many tomatoes? Which work better for tomatoes, stakes or cages?

Durgan, what variety of tomato are you growing? I see your supports are very tall, do your tomatoes reach up those supports? I have been growing Pink Girl, Brandywine, cherry tomaotoes, and Yellow pears.

Two plants of each for study purposes. Cages crowd the fruit. The open structure is probably more natural for the plant. I probably prefer the open structure, but strong cages are also reasonably good for the purpose of support.
