Default There has been a murder.

I had purchased 10 baby chicks and before I got the permanent pen built my Folks live next door and their dog got three of my chicks and killed them.
I had to many chickens I just could not resist them.
I have seven left they are starting to get big. They are stating to fly.

    That's hard,

My dogs believe that my chickens are food, we can't get them to believe anything else so I am always on the watch for them. If I'm home they can be out but if I'm gone they are in the house.

How sad - that's the part of the nature of things that is hard to take. Enjoy your seven chickies!!

The chicks have gotten so big and the dogs can not get to them at all now. I can not believe how crazy I am about those chickens. They see me coming and get so excited I know they just want me to fill the food and water back up and for me to give them a treat but I still love to see them so excited.
