These two plants were purchased from a local nursery in the Spring of 2008, and there was no name simply thornless blackberry. There were four berries on one plant last year and the quality was excellent, so I expect great things from these two plants, hence the elaborate trellis.

Looks like you are going to have quite a few this year, they look real good, I love your trellis!

I got a thornless blackberry from a neighbor and they have double the number of plant each year till I have a fence row about 25 ft long. You do look like you will get quite a few blackberries this year. I love to see the different colors of the berries when they are at various stages of ripeness.

These two plants are growing very well. I notice one plant has pink flowers and the other white.

The birds have decimated my smaller bushes of immature berries and my older bushes have wonderful berries but are getting sun scorched! Last year I had a wonderful crop, guess I'll have to buy from a local grower this year and eat mine fresh!

I have one Apache thornless blackberry bush earlier this spring. It has already had a small amount of berries on it to turn black. They were not very tasty though. Not very sweet. Should I have gotten a second bush for pollination purposes? Like I said, the bush did produce berries. Never grew them before and wonder if I did something wrong.
