Default What should I do with all the marigold seeds?

I live along the coast of SC. So I think they would come up next year if I put them in the soil now. Right or Wrong?

i save them, break the seed pods open, spread them to dry on a cookie sheet and bag them a PAPER sack for next year. no plastic, the little seeds can't breathe.
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

If you plant them now they'll come up in a week or so. Save them for next spring.

Don't know your area for gardening.......but

don't forget you now have trading material .....trade some for something else if you have gobs of them. What a frugal way to expand the garden. I am always trying to trade plants and seeds.
