Default rain, cold are causing big problems

in the garden. DH took some pepper, cucumber and tomato leaves in to have them checked, something is really eating the peppers.

Now we have flea beetles and powdery mildew... The beetles love wet cool small plants, the adults eat the top, larve eat the roots.

The mildew is from being damp, nothing is drying out here, the nursey said everyones gardens around here arent doing well because of all the rain. If it doesnt stop raining, I'm afraid we are going to have to replant alot of the garden.

The nursery gave us some 100% organic spray to try on the bugs, but I need to check into it farther, it some how doesnt seem organic if it kills bugs, sounds like a pesticide to me. Will post what it is later when I figure it out.

Pine trees, with their needles pointing up to heaven, represent everlasting light and life.

I know what you mean pinetree.
The weather this year has been horrible for the veggies and the flowers.

We got hot early so that cooked some of my peonies. Now we have cooled off and even had low 40's for nights and that isn't good for the veggies. We got rain over the weekend so the only thing that is really growing great is the weeds!!!
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

    Cool

Most of my seeds have still not come up, so I'm assuming I've had some losses due to prolonged cold nights around zero temps.
The weather has warmed somewhat now, and with the last 2 days of rains, there should be a real jump-start in the growth of everything in my garden and in the area crops too.
