So Excited About My Find!
I just had to share my exciting find at my house yesterday. I just moved into my house in the late fall of this past year so I am just now seeing the types of flowers and plants that are on my land. I built a house on about 10 acres of land that my family purchased.
Much to my surprise yesterday, I found a huge patch of blackberries! There are tons of berries and now I am trying to think of all of the things that I can do with them.
It was just exciting to find something growing wild that I don't have to plant myself.

Wild vegetation is phenomenal! It is some of the richest in nutrients because it is truly 100% natural, no human has altered it to be "better". I love wild edibles

That is really neat. Always nice to 'find' food items.
And can lead to 'trading material' further down the road.
I traded a peony for some raspberry plants this year.

Yum! I love blackberries. I usually make blackberry cobbler with mine. I also freeze some to use later. My daughter really likes blackberry smoothies.
