I have that shrub, but I chose the varigated leaf with light pink flowers.

Apparently there is quite a variety available. It truly is a nice plant to have.

Would love to show you; but I have no clue how to post pictures. See I have no avatar. No one has showed me how.

i have both of these! they are gorgeous! i had them side by side. my bristol ruby is about 7 feet tall!! i tried to move the verigated pink one (forgot the name) last year. it died....but thank god it had left a baby plant not too far from where it originally was. it is also doing wonderful....i should move it to another spot that i have planned out but am too afraid to move it. i do have to say the contrast of them side by side was beautiful, but they do grow huge! give them plenty of room!!

How lovely, I had not considered planting a Weigela but after seeing your pictures 'Bristol Ruby' I'm looking around the yard for a good spot for one.
    Thanks for sharing.
