Default Camera and Photos- TO ALL POSTERS

How about more photographs. A context picture (in focus) and close-ups can pass on a lot of information.

Everybody has a digital camera these days, and all cameras are capable of taking quality pictures, probably even better than the old film cameras.

The lousy bucket, Photobucket, Web Shots, etc., systems of display is the major problem. Most ISP's have web space and this is a better method of posting pictures via a link. All it takes is a bit of learning, and one can share many fine pictures.

Forum providers could;d offer such a system, but they all learned from the same book, so produce the same systems, that is wanting.

I just came in from weeding and picking blueberries. I got an early start and I am still soaked with sweat at 10:30 a.m. The last thing I was thinking about was taking pictures. I need to do a better job at taking them in the evening after the work is done. I have posted some in my blog.

I use Imageshack because I'm not certain that Shaw offers storage space for pictures. Besides, Imageshack has given me some really great quality photos that I can resize if need be.

Have heard of some of them but never used any of them. Guess I would have to do that 'bit of learning' thing.....

My pics are handled on my computer with photoshop.

Sorry Charlie, everyone does not have a digital camera these days. Some time I may bug the teens to use theirs but then I don't know how to upload them either.LOL. I do enjoy your photos though. Please feel free to keep "em coming.

Mystery shrub at the nature center. Maybe someone can identify it for me. They look like mini roses, but heck if I remember if there were any thorns. Too busy thinking oh man was that poison ivy as I walked where I probably shouldn't have.

Cherries we need to pick. How they survived all the critters this year is beyond me.

And one pic of Matthew because there can never be too many of those. He's in his new swing. If he could talk he'd say thanks for getting me a new swing that is more suitable for my baby butt. Not like the last one that was sun faded, rope frayed and ant and wasp infested and was clearly a sign of unworthy parents.

    He's a little cutie, Sara.

I think Durgan meant that in general, people have either a digital camera of their own or access to one. Me, I have a digital camera and a cell phone (though the cell takes way better pictures than the camera).

Looks like a Prarie Wild Rose, native to north america and common in the midwest and west.

Last year when my cherries all 220 of them were almost ripe, I decided to leave them on more day. That night the robins cleaned every one off.

    Smile Of cameras and cherries

My eldest son gave me a digital camera for Christmas last year, but I still don't know how to hook it up to the computer, use it, and share pictures. Hoping for enlightenment someday!

I've got 2 Nanking Cherry trees, which survived this spring's late frosts because I night-sprinkled them with my watering-can. They were loaded with blooms and bees, and pollinated well. They are now filling out. Usually, I beat the birds to them, because I check for ripeness every day, and pick off all the ripe ones. In the past, I've seen the birds gobble them before I had my chance at them.
I find I prefer them fresh, so if I pick every day, I always have some for snacking.
