So glad I started small!
This is the first year we'll be putting food up from our own garden. Today, I went out and took some of the leaves from the collard greens and decided to blanch and freeze them. Some of the leaves were getting quite large, and in hind sight - we simply planted them too close together. I went out with my bowl, and started snipping away.
At first it seemed like I took a LOT. After cleaning, and cutting them up, I ended up with 3 pounds blanch and freeze. That's quite a bit of work for 3 lbs of greens though! But I loved it! Once they were all cleaned and cut up, it moved rather quickly.
At least now I know I'd better have some one home when we pull the whole plants up.

Sweet million grape tomatoes.!! We planted about 8 plants 3 years ago. First they grew 8ft. tall then doubled over to form a mesh. When in was time to harvest if took 8 hours. They require a trelllis IMHO.
