    Default Roooooaaaaaar!!!

    I am WOMAN!! I am.......MOM!!!

I have been on hubby for ages to put me in some steps from my laundry room door to the outside. It had some rickety ones we removed some five years ago. I gave up waiting and looked around the property for something I could use. In my from yard I was using a ver big FLAT sided chiseled stone (used for building rock walls) as a plant stand. The kids decided the plants were no fun on it so had been using it to play king of the Hill on. I don't like that, someone could get hurt. So after the ump-teenth time telling the kids to get off of it...I got an idea. And I pushed, pulled, flipped rolled, and rocked this giant stone from one end of the yard to my laundry door....about 75 feet. the stone just about spans my width of my doo, is a good dunno...14 inches high, and had a tred depth of about 20 inches. that booger was heavy. but....now i have a step, that's just perfect!

I think I deserve a nice wine after dinner tonight!! I should go sit on my rock/ new step and drink the wine there, lol.

Beyond being perfect, it fits the homesteady feel of this area in that it's natural, right from my property, and it was free too!!
