I am amazed by my garden and my dh's flower gardens this year. We don't have much room and I'd love to be able to have a farm or at farm like home we have two gardens and 2 flower gardens. Dh's flowers have taken off and some are almost 6 foot tall and in full bloom. The vegetable garden had hip high potatoes and knee high tomatoes. The corn is almost hip high also. Beans are coming into blossom and the gourds have dinner plate size leaves on them. It's just unreal. But I do have a question maybe someone could answer. Our potatoes are in blossom. They have the pretty purple flowers on them.......all except for one. It's white with an orange center. We planted all the same kind of potatoe and I have never seen one this color before. Any clues?

Not a clue about the 'tatties but congrats on what sounds like a beautiful garden.

One thing......if you were having any of my luck....are you sure they were all the same potatoes? I planted a planted labeled acorn squash and it is a summer squash!!! AAARRRRRRHHHHHGGGG!!

They came from the same bag so I figured they were all the same. My MIL had a tator that looked like a tator and bloomed like a tator and grew tomatoes. Go figure. Now I just found out that there is a late blight on the tators and tomatoes.
