Arrow Anyone know of a gardening site...

...that will tell me what I can plant NOW?

It's about to be August and I am in zone 8...I'd like to know if there's a site out there that will show me a list of what I could plant in a garden right now. Veggies, flowers, etc.

    Thanks in advance!

You can plant nearly anything now if you are willing to baby it. You will probably have to check for water and shade two or three times a day because seedlings will be fragile until it is cool enough to get established on their own.

    Some sites which might help:

    use your state agricultural website

    they are wonderful.

I live in NC. I would google NC Department of Agriculture.....when the site comes up just pop in and it will tell you every single thing you need to know about YOUR state and your produce that does well and the times to plant etc.

My NC site is fab.....I hope YOUR state is great too.

so google (your state) department of agriculture and you should fair well.

    good luck

Don't know zone 8 but keep us posted on what you plant.

Always fun to share in progress from another gardener.
