pothos
Anyone got tips for taking care of these? I know they are supposed to be easy, but I'm not sure what to do.

I have 3. One is doing fine. A bunch of vines broke off it over the summer and it is small now, but seems to be healthy.
#2 is one long vine, with a lot of leaves missing in the middle and I would rather have it bushy but I don't know how to do that. Can I just break off the vine at the length I like?
#3 seems to be dying. Leaves are curling up and turning yellow and brown. The soil is moist but not soggy, I don't see any pests.
All 3 plants are in more or less the same conditions -- they were on the back deck exposed to rainfall most of the summer until it got cold and I brought them in last week. #3 was curling up before I brought it in.
Any suggestions for improving the health of these plants?Use it up, Wear it out,
Make it do, Or do without. ~unknown

My experince with these - the one that is a long vine with leaves missing - Cut it off at the length that you want it. The long part of the vine...cut it into a couple good size sections and stick them in water - the cut side down - the middle section just stick one end in....you should see small roots in a couple of weeks. Once you see lots of them, plant with the parent plant...it will make it more full.
I dont usually put mine outside. I have not had good luck with them outside...I always keep mine indoors in a window. I'm not sure what might be happening with the brown one.
Good Luck.

Would do the same as dwnloom for the #2 plant.
Sounds like #3 might be too wet. They can't take any direct light on their leaves, and they need to dry out completely between waterings. If it has been outside it can also have pests in the soil......maybe put it in some new dirt in that case....not dirt from your garen...but new potting soil.
Easy to overwater houseplants.....but these are hardy little demons and it is also like the more you abuse them the prettier they become.........they aren't fragile, like some.
