Superstore has their seeds and seed supplies out now.
I saw them when I was at the store tonight.
If you use the Jiffy products, they also have those out. They had a pretty healthy selection of seed packets.
If you're in Canada and have access to Superstore or any of its subsidiaries, check it out.

With the way the weather is around here, I'm not surprised. It could be really warm in March and then BAM! It'll snow in April.
I need to see if the five selections of plants I want this year are included in their seed catalog. I'm picking up my raspberry plants at a greenhouse this year so I don't have to mess with them in seed form.Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

Lawn and garden items (including seeds) went in as soon as the Christmas stuff was discounted and moved out around here. It does seem early for them. Maybe it seems early because we've had snow on the ground since Dec. 8 (just a few drifts left), and it makes one think spring is a l-o-n-g way off.
I plant leaf lettuce, spinach and turnip greens in my dome-frame (aka cold frame, except mine is a homemade plastic dome) by the end of February. I might plant earlier depending on the long-range forecast and projected high temperatures. I swept snow off the dome twice in April 2007 so I could pick greens.
I purchased discounted seeds the end of last year. I rarely purchase new seeds because they are so expensive.

Thanks for the heads up, they should be putting them out down here soon.
There was an article in our local paper saying that you need to get your seeds early this year. Says more people are planting this year than last year.Pine trees, with their needles pointing up to heaven, represent everlasting light and life.
