    Default Bee keeping question.

    Does anyone keep bees? We are looking into getting some honeybees. My dh is taking some classes right now. We are wanting info on top bar hives. Does anyone have these? Also, how much sun do they need to get? We have a pretty wooded yard. We have a place in mind that would get some morning and mid day sun, but certainly not all day. WE just need more info. Thanks!

    Actually had that one bookmarked. My neighbor, who passed a few years ago, kept bees. He and I would sit on the front porch drinking lemonade and he would talk for hours about his bees, often repeating himself. He had over 70 hives and used to sell honey by the 55 gallon drum!

    So I found that site and book marked it to show him, but never got the chance.
