Does anyone have a source for...
Anasazi beans?
I was reading my TWG and Amy talked about growing beans. I plan to get some Jacobs cattle. I love Anasazi beans, they cook faster (30 minutes or so) Do not require presoaking and do not cause gas.
Plus they are beautiful! They have a slightly sweet taste and turn pink when cooked.
They start out crimson and white.
Anyway, since they are (or were) native to the desert I think they ought to grow here.
Online they are $5.95 for a pound to cook. I just want a few ounces for seed!

Try searching on Ebay. Dave has had luck finding rare water plants (for the koi pond) on there...
I've never heard of these beans...how cool.
Also try doing a Google search and see if that comes up with anything. Google is the best search engine IMO
