What's blooming around you?
Today I spent some time just wandering around the yard enjoying the scenery. Color is everywhere, many shades of green with the growing grass, trees & shrubs budding out. Bright yellow finches having a party at the feeder & there were flowers blooming too. Here are some pics I took of the flowers here. I hope to keep taking pictures as Spring turns into Summer & Summer into Fall.
Do you have some favorite flowers you can share?~*Darlene*~

In Idaho we have tulips blooming, bleeding hearts, phlox and fruit trees. My Red Forest Pansy is booming as are the Canadian choke cherries. The gold finsches are back and this morning we had a Lazuli Bunting at the feeder :-)

The attached picture shows my daffodils just opening, they are fully open now.
The group of flowers are some that I just bought, thank you to my long-distance bf who sent me a gift card to buy flowers for my yard. (he said they would last longer than cut ones, awwww!) They are double-columbines, columbines, and a bleeding heart.
Tulips are up but still closed. Come on babies! Open! I don't even know what colors they will be as my mom and I divvied up a mixed bag of bulbs last fall.LDR

We are starting to get with the program here....my daffs. have been open for awhile and I don't have that many tulips but what I have are mostly open.
My lilacs are just starting to get the leaves but lots of buds. My miniature lilac needs to be moved but at least it made it through the winter.
I am really looking forward to seeing what my many peonies will do this year since we weren't very cold. Some of the buds look really small but still a little early. My fern leaf peony is not far off from blooming......will try to get a pic.
I LOVE spring.......it is like rebirth......I put a birdbath out last week and I love to watch how the robins enjoy their bath. They can almost empty the bath by splashing!

. Can't wait to see what else blooms around you as the seasons progress. :camera:
I have tulips and my cherry trees in bloom. I don't have pics of them from this year, but I do have them in one of my FV albums.

All my spring flowers and the fruit tree blossoms have come and gone awhile ago. Right now my daylilies are just starting to bloom, my peonies are just about ready, lily of the valley are in full bloom, roses are just about ready to open. Azaleas are in full bloom, too.
We plant pansies in the fall here and they bloom all winter and it's just about time to pull them out since it's starting to get hot. I have bunches of annuals planted and really need to get to the nursery for some more.
My fruit trees are loaded with fruit but it's only a matter of time before the stupid squirrels get it all. I hate squirrels!Nancy

The tulips are open, but only yellow ones for some reason. The flowering quince is in blossom, I had hoped it would wait a week or two so that it would be out when the house is showing. It will probably be done by the time it's on the market.

Today my first water lily opened up - very early. My spring woodland flowers - wild geraniums, jacob's ladder and bluebells - are in bloom. Golden Alexanders and wild columbine are just starting.
