    Default Weather - grumble

We need some sunshine! It's been cold and rainy for the last two weeks. We have a bumper crop of strawberries that are all still green and are likely to go mouldy before they ripen.

This spring started out so promising. After a mild winter, everything was ahead by a month. Now, it's a losing battle with the weeds, and the crops are slowing down.

Will trade you, we have had a week of high temps and sun and can desperately use some rain for the garden. I had to go out this morning to do it by hand. Our promised thunderstorms last night evaporated mere miles from the city. It's going to be another week before we have chance of rain again.

Yep, I am there with you keith.

We are getting mostly whatever you get and I am more than tired of the rain.

Was late (for me) getting my garden in........then some of the plants were pretty small when we got four nights of freezing temps. Lost some.

Guess it was a good thing that I lost my watermelon and cantaloupe as the season won't be 'good enough' or long enough to have any anyway!!

Mother Nature is messing with my food supply and I don't like it!!

Losing strawberries and watermelon and canteloupe is truly lousy weather karma. They always say the good die young, and theres not much that's better than berries and melons.

    I'd be grumbling (loudly) too.

Here, it's just hot. Occasional late afternoon/early evening thunderstorms on and hit and miss basis, normal summer weather pattern.
