The COOP and residents!
After long, HOT, MUGGY hours of building, and you can see it's not quite done, here is the coop and a few "residents".
The wife got 30 FREE chickens from her boss's wife. She is a school teacher and her students hatch out an egg each as a class project.
At least THEY were free. LOL

wow Russ very nice. If you get sick of chickens the way the economy is someone will rent it!!
At .99 a doz. you should prob. break even in what- 10 years tops.lol

looks great! I didn't think I'd enjoy my hens (and ducks and quail) as much as we do. they are so much fun. Enjoy!!

thanks all! It was a lot of work and cussing and I have a lot of trim work to do but, it is now housing chicks.

Looks great, when we find a place I'll have you up to build my goat barn.
Is thirty enough to start with? Maybe she can go around to all the other schools in the area collecting more.
