    another long weekend--more loads of mulch for the garden and now im turning it all over with the rototiller also had 2 huge tree cut down in the yard 1 to have more sunshine in the garden and 2 so i could have a good site of the sky for the new dish network gone in today--next is to get about 12 plastic barrels to cut in half to grow potato,s in next year-got to get the front of the property cleared too so i can start to transfer wild berry bush,s----so much to do before the snow fly,s ---hugs to all fv

    Once the vines got going, they seemed to grow at least a foot per day. Now that the plants are tired and turning brown, I can spot the gourds hanging from the eaves, the power line, my neighbor's tree. I'm going to take a ladder out there this weekend and see if I can reach any of them. They're perfectly formed bird's nest gourds. I must have 20 of them.

    Next years garden is going to be kinda a surprise since this is our first time planting one at our new location. Up stairs neighbor is also planting a garden. We will start all our plants from seeds as we have done for several years.
