Default Got my first two seed catalogs.

Just when I am feeling really bummed about all the snow and ice my first two garden catalogs arrive. WOOHOO!!!

Makes winter a little more tolerable............

Got Nichols Garden Nursery catalog..........Nichols Garden Nursery

and the Pinetree Garden Seeds Catalog - www.superseeds.com

Have ordered from both of them in the past and had good results. Nichols is in Oregon and Pinetree is in Maine.....so I order more seeds from Nichols.

They BOTH have lots of other fun stuff too.......like spices, soapmaking supplies, fragrant oils, books, etc. FUN STUFF!!

What catalogs have you gotten? How about posting the websites?

I have mine from Pinetree, Totally Tomatoes and Vermont Bean Seed Co.

Last year I ordered from TT and Pinetree, and I don't really need new seed this year but I am looking at trying some more new tomatoes and peppers. I haven't really found anything that grows well here yet.

I haven't received any yet. I especially love looking through them in the winter doldrums of February, they boost my moral with thoughts of warmer weather and new beginnings to come.

Aren't the seed companies brilliant - sending enticing catalogues tokeep you busy planning and pining for the spring sun!! Sounds like waiting for and savoring the old Sears catalog - only you know you can make your wishes come true - enjoy my friends!!

I haven't recieved mine yet, but does anyone else do like I do and act like a kid with the Sears Christmas Wish Book? I go through each page and circle everything I want. Now where is my Wish book?

Thanks freebs...........will be requesting some of those.

I used to get quite a few of them but didn't order so they dropped me.

Some of them had such high shipping that I wouldn't order from them anyway ......still fun looking!!

You only need to sign up for a few, they all trade customer lists and pretty soon you'll be getting everybody else's catalog too!

I've received 3 catalogs & ordered from 2 - Totally Tomatoes & Gurneys. I've already gotten my order from Totally Tomatoes!! The other catalog was Vermont Bean seed co. I will order from them, but not until after the new year.
