new strawberry beds built
Now I just need the dirt and compost. We are replacing an old bed that the weeds got ahead of us and making it a raised bed.
I do need to figure out an irrigation system and the problems will be solved. the beds are 4x8 and border the drive and the neighbors lawn We have some heavy black plastic I am playing down between the beds and the foot between the bed and the neighbors They have zoiza grass that keeps seeking out the improved soil in that area.
I am planting some tomatoes in the bed this spring also so I need a nice looking cage as it is in the front side yard next to the drive. Not that is matters anything will look better than the weeds that took over last year.Meg
cc debt free YEAH on to the mortage
