    Default extra plants

I guess I should not complain but I had great germination so what do I do with too many broccoli plants. Same with tomato plants.

I can't bear to toss them

I always plant more than I need, because you never know how many will germinate. I have great success "rehoming" them by listing them on Freecycle.

I'd put the broccoli shoots into a salad but I don't know if tomato shoots are edible. That is if you don't give them away.

I would put them on CL.........either free or really cheap.

You should have no problem getting rid of them.......lots of people will need plants and they watch CL for exactly that.

I hang onto them until the day I plant. Just because a lot came up doesn't mean half of them won't die before it's time to plant them.

I usually end up squeezing more plants into the garden than I had planned.

Well I ended up putting them in empty spaces in the flower garden. I may start a new trend in the neighborhood
