Cucumber Cross Country

The cucumbers are started indoors about a four to six weeks before placing in the garden about the 24 of May in my area. The contents of the pot are planted and this gives a good head start. Sometimes production is completed (three weeks) before downy mildew makes its appearance, which is a big plus. The plants shown is about the size desired when planting. It will be difficult to store, since they have about a month to go before planting. Cucumber plants cannot withstand any frost.Durgan
