Default My Homestead is coming along well!

My chickens are doing real well and laying 7 eggs a day..My greenhouse is housing lot's of yummy veggie's..I just purchased 120 cinder blocks that was delivered a hour ago and will be my new addition to making a 48 by 4 foot wide raised bed..I added 7 more fruit trees to my orchard..bought and planted a ruhbarb sp? plant..I'm buying a few more ruhbarb plants then I'm also adding a herb garden from the herbs I started from seed..I'm very happy & excited with the progress of my homestead in just 1 years time...

How many chickens do you have Brenda? We have baby 8 chicks and I think if they all lay I will sure have a lot of eggs. They are all supposed to be female but we are sure one of the golden comets is a boy since he is turning white!

Where do you buy rhubarb plants? We used to have them and I let FIL dig them up because we didnt use it. I retried ut last year after hating it all my life and loved it unsweetened!

You have my dream place. I thought I was going to have almost an acre with the move but find out it's actually a regular size "lot". On the other hand the lot that will be next to us is overgrown etc and I'm planning on using a portion of it.
I love the sound of what you're doing.
