Default Planting: Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflower.

2 May 2011 Planting: Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflower. 2 May 2011 Planting: Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflower.

These plants were purchased form a commercial greenhouse. They are cold weather crops, so early May is an appropriate time to plant. All these members of the cabbage family grow well in my Zone 5.

That's AWESOME! You're planting all of my favorite veggies!!

I haven't tried growing any of those yet, so I'm looking forward to reading about your experience.

Plant the cabbage family early in the season and watch out for the white butterfly. They may be planted in mid August for a Fall crop. (cauliflower particularly).

    Your garden is looking good!

I don't know if I want to ask this, but, did you lose Neena? She was always by your side, If you did I am SO sorry..
Ginny is a real cutie too.

Neena was struck a passing glance by as car on 22 April while standing on the edge of the road, and her spinal column was severed. She was euthanized.

I had a silent house for two days and looked on Kijiji and found Ginny listed, and went to see her. She is split Pom/Chi and should be a little smaller than Neena. Ginny was born on 17 of February.

I knew I didn't want to know the answer to that question.

It always made me smile when I saw her pictures with you, I thought she was the cutest dog I had seen. Thank you for sharing her with us and again, I am so sorry.

I'm looking forward to the pictures of Ginny, she doesn't look very old. She also looks like she has a tender spirit.

I am so sorry to hear about Neena. Ginny looks to be a sweet pup.

Ginny was born on 17 February 2011. She should be about nine pounds, a little smaller than Neena.

Sorry Durgan, I was so upset about Neena, that I didn't really see the date of Ginny being born.

Ginny almost looks like a little racoon, the mask on her face is adorable! You will have to post more pictures of her!
