Anyone familiar with planting Mangoes?
Has anyone planted mangoes from seed? A guy used to work for us.. his family used to have a nursery and he said they were easy.
BUT I can't remember if he said you had to have a male and female or not. I have 3 seeds from some I bought a couple days ago and am dehydrating today.
Also, does the flesh have to be COMPLETELY off the seed ( not an easy thing to do ). Does it have to be completely dried? It is near impossible to get all of it off.
I remember him saying they were fairly fast growing. He planted one and it was several inches, maybe 6 or 7, in no time.
