Garden- Planted Early for Zone 5
14 May 2011 Garden 14 May 2011 Garden
Pictures of the garden. It has been a wet Spring, and relatively cool. It is raining today. It should be observed that planting is early for Zone 5, and this is acceptable providing there is adequate drainage, during a wet Spring.
Ground temperature at about a six inch depth is 14 degrees C. During the short intervals of warm weather, various seeds where planted, starting 11 of April. Some cool weather seedlings were also planted. All plants are healthy and growing well.Durgan
