    Default Asparagus- Guelph Millenium

    This is the fourth year for the asparagus bed, and my first harvest. There are eleven plants in the bed. The type is Guelph Millennium.

    Thanks for the posting and giving me something to look forward to...........YUM!!!

    I just ordered some asp. this year.

    Your posting makes me excited to be able to pick.....in a couple years.

    I got some purple too........and have never tasted it.
    Hope I like it.

    I have tiny shoots coming up on it.......they are so cute.
    Tiny little miniatures...........

    Durgan, I do have one comment...........I would hate to be the
    one that has to mow your lawn!! And I thought mine was
    bad with all my 'cut outs'!!!

    I have a riding lawn mower, and can get around the cut outs with relative ease. Before or after mowing, I weed whack. It is not a difficult job.

    I just bought ten plants and now I just need to find to sunny spot to put them and not forgot them.

    Congrats on finally getting a harvest.
