    Default Price of bedding plants

    For those of you who buy your plants, what kind of prices are they asking for them? We start most of ours from seed but I will be buying a couple of plants (tomato & couple 6 pks of flowers) and was wondering what prices nowadays are like.Thanks

    $1.99 -2.99 and up for a 4pk or 6pk and sometimes a small 4" pot. Depends on the quality of the plant and the nursery. I don't buy things potted in styrofoam potting mix -- it's used in place of the more expensive pearlite-- for environmental reasons, but those are usually the cheaper pots.

    $.89 - $1.99 for 4 plants
    Cheaper by the flat, but my garden is not that big

    If you want larger sturdier plants you can buy them singly at our produce stand for $1.69 each; mainly tomatoes and peppers
