Colorado Potato Beetle Eggs
3 June 2011 Colorado Potato Beetle Eggs. 3 June 2011 Colorado Potato Beetle Eggs
My approximately 80 small potato plants have about 500 Colorado Potato Beetle eggs on the leaves. The clusters vary between about 25 to 50 per plant chosen. Most of the eggs will mature if left undisturbed, and will destroy a potato patch in a few days. I check daily and remove when found, and destroy any adults found.Durgan

Wow, they are bright. Do they look similar to ladybug eggs? Maybe I've been killing the wrong ones, and letting the pests live!

I dusted my potatoes & gr beans. You pick them off? Sounds like a tedious job....
