    Default and now on the homestead...

    bunnies. Meat rabbits. This is the breeding stock, offspring will be meaties and some will be sold. One male and three females. We brought them home in this, but now they are out in their growout hutch.

    The breed is Rex

    I couldn't eat them, but congrats on starting your homestead.

    We're not eating these guys. they're our pet/breeders.

    I might have to take them to someone else to do the deed. Or...I might just instead sell the babies. I haven't yet decided. So don't worry just yet.

    Yup - this is the reason my homestead shall be a vegetarian one!

    I love the name Cadbury! We used to have bunnies named Bob and Luther (after my kids' grandpas)

    Aww. They are so cute! I love bunnies! When I was little my grandfather raised them for breeding and eating. I can remember be heart broke when I went out on day and my favorite bunny was gone

    Congrats!! I was wondering if you went ahead with it or not!! I love me some rexes they just dont do well in our heat..lol. We had a white one like that we called her Ice. Goodluck!!

    Missy I wish you well in your homesteading endeavor. I really think the bunny business will do good for you.

    We had some bunnies when I was in the 5th grade and they were my buddies. They were so sweet. Had to get rid of them when we moved to Tallahassee so I never knew what happened to them.

    I also love the name Cadbury. Perfect choice.
