broccoli
well it grew great but the heads were not large before the flowers became not tight
so I should have planted larger plants? I suppose a fall crop would be better so what about timing zone 5 I tasted great and I leaft the plants for some side shoots.Meg

Good luck.
That is why I stopped growing broc. It would bolt before I got
anything to make it worth the effort. Our spring season is too
unpredictable so after three years just said, no more!
I just wait for it to get cheaper in the stores, then buy a bunch to freeze.
