    Default Garden Produce Meal

14 June 2011 Garden Produce Meal. 14 June 2011 Garden Produce Meal

The home garden is starting to produce food. Today I made a simple meal from a whole beet, garlic scapes, broccoli, cauliflower, and previously pressure cooked dried beans. The garden produce was steam cooked for ten minutes, and served with a bit of butter. Nourishing and simple to prepare.

Isn't it great when you can partake of Fresh Veggies that you raised yourself. :-)

I know that you enjoyed it. All that I would have needed to add to the meal would have been some hot cornbread with some butter. Yummm.
