Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

I didn't realize that there were that many breeds, and I also thought that they were all aggressive in some way. Thanks.

    Which one ? Temperament ? = personality / disposition

This is the one for orpingtons as that is what our main flock is....
    Friendly
    Easily handled
    Calm
    Bears confinement well
    Quiet
    Docile

( they run the words together and it does not make a lot of sense)

Put the frog in pot, turn up the heat real slow, and the frog doesn't hop out. And by the time he realizes, he should , it's too late... think about it.

Lots of breeds and each breed can have lots of colors.

My flock is buff orpingtons, Orpington - Back Yard Chickens
a few production reds, Delawares, Delaware - Back Yard Chickens
and the recent ones are Ameraucana's
    Ameraucana - Back Yard Chickens

And no not aggressive normally. It all depends on how you handle and raise them. I make it a rule not to challenge our 2 big roosters. They both handle real well. And have good personalities. Just don't get between Bert and Henry when Bert wants to high karate kick poor Henry. And Henry is the bigger bird.

The words running together is what confused me.

one of my favorite websites. Learn a lot about chickens, raising in different parts of the country/world. etc etc. I've been around chickens/poultry in one facet or another a long time, half my life or so, and i still learn something new about poultry there every time I go.

It's not necessarily a frugal website, not really, but it has some great livestock and animal topics.

every animal has the potential of aggression. but a lot has to do with how they are raised. True roosters are often (not always) more aggressive...and the more there are in one space...and with a harem of hens to try to fight over...things can get heated. But there are ways to deal with it too. Most of my hens are very docile. They'll follow us around like puppy dogs.
